Day 2: Research your Biome Choice

Today you guys need to choose a biome and report it to me.  The criteria you need to research is in the rubric below.  You can begin creating your posts now.  ALSO REMEMBER TO CITE YOUR SOURCES IN THE POST as well as NO PLAGIARISM!

Post 1: Abiotic Features: Climate Must include average precipitation throughout the year, average temperatures throughout the year, weather patterns throughout the year. Post 3: Biotic Features (Producers) Must highlight 5 producers found in this biome. Each producer must have a picture and at least a one sentence caption. Post 4: Biotic Features (Consumers) Must highlight 5 consumers found in this biome. Each consumer must have a picture and at least a one sentence caption. Post 5: Endangered/Threatened Species At least one 5-7 sentence paragraph with a photo about this organism and its niche. You should include the reason it is endangered or threatened. Day 1: Create your blog.

1. Go to Horizon High School Homepage
2. Sign in to Google Apps

• Click on Google Apps from the HHS Homepage
• Click on any of the Google Apps products, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc

3. At the top of your screen (doesn't matter if you're in gmail or drive etc) click on the "More" tab, then select "Blogger"

4. Select the option to create a "Limited Blogger Profile" (Adams12 does not have Google+ right now)

5. Type in your name (First and Last) as your Blogger name

6. Select "New Blog"

7. Name it in the following Format: "_(your first name)_'s Google Earth Project" (see picture below)

8. Enter the same Title in the box below to create your site url. (see picture below)

9. Select a theme for your blog. You may choose any, but the "simple" one is fine.

10. Select "Create Blog" at the bottom of the screen (see picture below)
